Marcos Ariel Pérez Medina

From his early steps in Jiu-Jitsu in Panama, Marcos has shown dedication and skills, eventually achieving the prestigious black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Furthermore, he has completed his university education, showcasing his commitment in both academic and athletic endeavors.

Throughout his career, Marcos Ariel Pérez Medina has achieved numerous accolades in both national and international competitions. Among his most notable distinctions are his two-time title as Pan American JJIF Champion in 2021 and 2022, as well as his title as JJIF Masters World Runner-Up in 2022. He has also secured the title of JJIF South American Runner-Up in 2022 and has been a three-time National Jiu-Jitsu Champion in Panama from 2021 to 2023.

Marcos has not only excelled in the world of Jiu-Jitsu but has also made history by becoming the first Panamanian to qualify for the World Combat Games in Jiu-Jitsu. This achievement underscores his excellence in the discipline and his commitment to representing his country on the international stage.

His future goals include winning the JJIF World Championship and the World Combat Games Championship, demonstrating his ambition to continue surpassing himself and leaving an indelible mark on the world of Jiu-Jitsu in Panama and the world.

To achieve his goals, Marcos is seeking to gather resources to cover the costs of traveling to the World Combat Games 2023 in Saudi Arabia and the Pan-American Jiu-Jitsu JJIF Championship in Argentina.
