Hector Cencion

From an early age, Hector showed an innate interest in karate. He began his martial arts training during his school years, and over the years, his skills and dedication propelled him to levels of unimaginable success.

Education was always a priority for Hector. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in construction, demonstrating that discipline and perseverance are crucial both on the tatami and in academic life.

Currently, Hector Cencion serves as an active member of the National Police of Panama, where he has channeled his commitment to security and excellence into his work and his passion for karate.

With a career spanning about fifteen years, Hector has amassed an impressive record of sports achievements. His dedication and skills have led him to conquer multiple titles that few can match:

- Six-time Central American champion.

- Two-time South American champion in the gold category.

- Three-time South American silver champion.

- Two-time gold medalist in the Central American and Caribbean Games.

- Two-time silver medalist in the Central American and Caribbean Games.

- Two-time Pan American champion.

- Three-time bronze medalist in the Pan American Games.

- He has qualified for the World Games, an honor achieved by only eight athletes worldwide.

Recognition for his exceptional performance goes beyond just the titles. Hector has been honored with several awards and distinctions, including:

The next chapter in Hector's career is about to begin as he prepares to participate in the Karate 1 Series A in Larnaca, Cyprus, from September 23rd to October 2nd. After that, his focus will be on the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, from October 24th to November 2nd.

Despite his impressive list of achievements, Hector faces the financial challenge of covering the expenses associated with these competitions. His passion and determination drive him to seek support in order to fulfill his dreams and represent Panama on the international stage.
